Assistant Building Maintenance Technician
Shop/ Facility Maintenance Technician
Barnhart Crane & Rigging Company, Memphis, TN is seeking an individual to support facility building and maintenance functions. This person would report to the Facilities Manager and be responsible for maintaining various electrical, mechanical, building, and facility systems at their Memphis operations. The ideal candidate skills would include clerical/ computer, basic electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance equipment operator.

Barnhart Crane & Rigging Company, Memphis, TN is seeking an individual to support facility building and maintenance functions. This person would report to the Facilities Manager and be responsible for maintaining various electrical, mechanical, building, and facility systems at their Memphis operations. The ideal candidate skills would include clerical/ computer, basic electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance equipment operator.
Duties
- Reports to Facilities Manager.
- Monitor equipment maintenance program & complete required PM’s.
- Perform various small construction projects.
- Monitor waste collection sites & schedule removal with vendors.
- Point of contact for various system monitoring. (Fire, burglar, gate access.)
- Point of contact for contracted vendor site visits.
- Familiarity with various system to troubleshoot. (Wash Bay equipment, Sprinkler System, gate operation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
- Operate various equipment to perform or support a task: Forklift, Manlift, Road Sweeper, Bush Hog, etc.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by manger.
